I took the day off today for the sole purpose of finding my first silver coin. It near took eight hours but I did it. I started by hunting some sidewalk strips and an empty lot. I was then joined by Patton from the Friendly Metal Detecting Forum and we hunted a very old and very large park but all I found were a bunch of memorial pennies. We decided to move on to a park we have hunted before and that has produced old coins for other hunters.
