I went looking for old coins at lunch today but instead found a Space Ranger badge. Unfortunately, I think I broke it during extraction but didn’t know it until I cleaned the badge. The part that broke off is still in the hole at the park.
It appears to be made of some sort of zinc alloy. The signal was almost identical to a zinc penny on the V3i.
Rocky Jones: Space Ranger was a Sci-Fi show that run from 1954 to 1956 here in the U.S. Obviously, a fan of the show lost his or her badge and I found it many years later.
I, being a Sci-fi fan, think that this is really cool. I wish I hadn’t damaged it.
