I sent my three metal detectors to the dealer. I hope I can get enough for them to buy my XP Deus!
This marks the beginning of the next level of my metal detecting career. I feel I have learned much this past year. For sure, I have gotten in better shape physically and have developed new insights and a new level of patience and perseverance.
I have now come to the point where I don’t seek a target in particular but instead I often ask “what may this be?”
I have gotten to the point where low tone, mid tone, and high tone are nothing more than descriptions and what I am really focusing on are other aspects of the signal such as quality and consistency.
And so now I want to focus on the hunt and not just worry about what machine I am using. That is why the XP Deus is the logical choice for me. If Fisher, or Minelab, or Garrett had a machine that would help me enhance the hunt as a whole, I would have bought from them. As it happens, the people from XP have such a machine and that’s why I’m getting one.

Oh this is just great!!!….it’s not bad enough I gotta compete with the frickin etracs now I got to put up with a frickin Deus!!!!…..seriously thou, I think you made a nice choice…would be my choice if I had the extra moola….just try to leave a few tidbits for the rest of us…:)
