Two things didn’t happen in 2012: The world didn’t end and I didn’t find my Seated coin. At least on the second one, it wasn’t for lack of trying!
Even though my hunting time was greatly diminished in 2012, I was hoping my increased expertise would make up for it and allow me to find a Seated coin. Finding a Seated was my modified goal for 2012. I had originally stated that I wanted to find 75 silver coins in 2012 but early in the year, I engaged in a philosophical discussion with KansasDave and it was during that conversation that I decided I would be greatly more satisfied if I found a Seated coin than if I found 75 Barbers, Mercs, and Rosies.
So I concentrated my efforts at sites where it was likely to find a Seated with the result mentioned above.
FOR 2013
My goals for this coming year are two:
1) Find 100 silver coins
2) At least one of those silver coins will be a Seated coin.
I am confident to achieve those two goals.
